Welcome to the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy (“PIMT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through our online store (the “Service”). By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Purchases & Payment Authorization

To complete a purchase, you may be required to provide certain information, including but not limited to:

  • Name
  • Billing address
  • Shipping address
  • Credit card number and expiration date
  • Contact information (email and/or phone)

By submitting payment information, you confirm and agree that:

  1. You are legally authorized to use the payment method provided, and
  2. All information submitted is accurate, complete, and current.

You authorize PIMT to provide necessary information to trusted third-party service providers (such as payment processors and shipping carriers) for the purpose of completing your order.

2. Order Acceptance & Cancellation

We may refuse or cancel an order at any time, at our sole discretion, for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Product availability
  • Errors in pricing or product description
  • Issues with payment authorization
  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized/illegal activity
  • Incorrect or incomplete order details

If an order is cancelled, we will attempt to contact you using the information provided at checkout. PIMT is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from a cancelled or delayed order.

3. Shipping & Pickup Options

You may choose from the following delivery options during checkout:

A. Free Delivery to PIMT Campus (Default Option)

  • All orders can be delivered to the school at no additional cost.
  • Delivery timeline: Approximately 4 weeks from order submission.
  • We will contact you when your order is ready for pickup at the campus.

B. Direct Shipping to Your Address

  • For direct shipping, a flat fee of $20 will apply.
  • Delivery timeline may vary depending on carrier availability and destination.
  • Shipping is limited to Canadian addresses.

PIMT is not responsible for missing or delayed shipments once the item is transferred to the carrier for delivery to personal addresses.

4. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not fully happy with your item, the following return policy applies:

A. Eligibility for Return/Refund

  • Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of the original purchase date.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and in original condition with all tags attached.
  • You must provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).

B. How to Process a Return

  • All returns or exchanges must be completed in person at the PIMT campus.
  • Returns by mail or through third-party locations are not accepted.

C. Refund Method

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • If the original payment method is unavailable, school credit may be issued at our discretion.

D. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Clearance or discontinued merchandise
  • Customized or special-order items
  • Items showing signs of wear, washing, damage, alteration, or use

E. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.
  • If the requested size or item is unavailable, you may choose a refund or school credit based on the above policies.

5. Limitation of Liability

PIMT will not be held responsible for:

  • Payment processing errors
  • Lost, delayed, or damaged shipments handled by external carriers
  • Any loss or damages related to incomplete, cancelled, or delayed purchases

By using our Service, you agree that your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with a product is a return or exchange as outlined in this policy.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version posted on this page is considered the current and active policy.
