Weekend Program

At PIMT, we understand that not everyone can commit to full-time, weekday studies. That’s why we offer a Weekend Massage Therapy Program—a flexible option designed for individuals who are balancing work, family, or other commitments.

Study Massage Therapy on Your Schedule

Our Weekend program delivers the same high-quality, advanced massage therapy education as our Weekday program, with a blend of online learning and in-person weekend classes. This format allows you to pursue your diploma without putting your life on hold.

  • Intake Dates: January, May, and September
  • Program Length: 2200-Hours (16 months)
  • Delivery Mode: Blended (online + on-campus one weekend per month)
  • Location for in-person classes: Saskatoon (on-campus)
  • Credential: Advanced Massage Therapy Diploma
  • Accreditation: Program approved by the Massage Therapy Association of Saskatchewan (MTAS), the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) & Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA).

How It Works

  1. Online Theory Courses
Study anatomy, physiology, pathology, and massage theory through a structured online learning management platform. You’ll have access to videos, readings, assignments & quizzes, as well as weekly online classes.
  2. In-Person Practical Training
Attend scheduled weekend sessions (once a month) at our Saskatoon campus. These hands-on classes focus on practical massage techniques, assessments, and clinical practice.
  3. Clinical Practicum
Gain real-world experience in our supervised student clinic. There are two options available for completing your clinic practicum hours:
  • On-campus in the Student Clinic, where you can treat clients under supervision, and
  • At Home Clinic, an option designed for distance students, allowing you to complete hours by treating clients in your own space while meeting the program’s requirements.
