About Our Campus

This is the original campus of The Professional Institute of Massage Therapy, and we have been a leader of massage in the Prairies since we opened our doors in 1992. Through the years, we have produced many competent massage therapists who worked hard to earn their Advanced Massage Therapy Diploma. We value and prioritize our students and have a reputation for producing excellent therapists. We continue to be an advocate in the advancement of recognized, registered massage in the province and country alike.

We are proud of our unique space! Because we are the only school in Saskatoon dedicated solely to the study of massage therapy, we unsure that the entire campus is massage oriented and geared towards your success as a therapist. Our newly renovated building includes three classroom along with nine clinic rooms which are widely available to students for their practical component each year. This means you will not have to share the space with unrelated classes or programs, such as in a career college. We also provide a kitchen and student lounge space for your convenience.

Information on Our Massage Therapy Program

Our Advanced Massage Theory and Practical course will take you through everything from Anatomy and Physiology, to Business Principles, to Application of Research in the massage field. You are trained in multiple techniques, such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. You will also learn to treat a variety of conditions such as Scoliosis, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, and Temporomandibular Joint Disfunction (TMJD) to name just a few.

The program is versatile and can be completed in either 16 months or over two years, and our Instructors are passionate and well-versed in the massage world with diverse portfolios of experience. They are eager to share their knowledge with you in both the class and student clinic settings, preparing you for your career and helping direct your own journey as a massage therapist.

We equip our therapists to work in whichever environment is best suited to them, whether it be alongside chiropractors and physiotherapists, in professional spa environments or even for themselves as empowered business owners. Being an RMT is an incredible career that allows flexibility, diversity of specialization and the daily reward of improving quality of life for each patient who walks through your doors.
